P.S.: Look up Marcus Thompson II's piece in the Contra Costa Times (09/06/2008) that's online now. Monta has just admitted to the Warriors that he lied about the injury. It also details the injury itself and how long he will have to rehab.

Monta will be out for 3 to 4 months - the earliest he will be back is December. Monta was examined by the Ws' doc and the story he told them about how he sustained the injury does not jibe with the injury itself. Monta has yet to come clean (publicly) about it all but what is clear is that he didn't get hurt during a pickup game like he claimed. Marcus Williams had better be damn good damn fast or the Ws' season is pretty much over before it started.

Monte not hurt that's a bunch of bull too.i work up there and when the season start i will find out what really happen..cause now there saying he got hurt falling off his motorcycle. i thing there trying to give the starting point guard position to Marcus William YOU KNOW I HAVE GIVEN UP ON ALL SPORTS and its politics and all the bull crap.

Baron didn't fuck the Ws - Mullin lowballed Baron with a bullshit 2/28 offer! That's why he took the Clippers' 5/65 offer. He wasn't gonna leave long-term security and almost 30 mio. on the table to return to the Ws whom he had resurrected almost singlehandedly. You don't insult your best player with a 2/28 offer and then throw 5/101 at Arenas who is marginally better than Baron and way more injury prone. Warriors fucked themselves BIG TIME with this move and now Monta is out. Karma is a bitch!

Ellis is not a play maker. He's good at getting out in the open court. They have two shooting guards and a spot up shooter in Stephen Jackson. Marcus Williams from the nets is garbage. They may have to pick up a point guard through free agency. This Warriors had chemistry with Baron, now they're back to the experimental stages of assembling a team. Randolph will probably develop faster than Wright though.

Any player would be good if they developed more. Brandon has no post up game. He's a lanky finisher. He needs to be on a team with a great passer like Phoenix or New Orleans. Mullin talks about he's gonna fill out his body. They said the same about Shawn Bradley and they put him on 5000 calories a day and he didnt bulk up. That's a common myth to think that a dude who's been skinny all his life can all of a sudden gain 20 pounds of muscle. Its called a fast metabolism.

Is Mullin a Jew?

Brandon Wright would be really good if he developed more.
